The way we think about training is wrong (and it’s easy to fix).

You know what almost every runner is told to do when they want to get faster or come back from an injury?

Run more. Build a bigger base. Add more miles.

And every dedicated runner out there is doing it. More volume, more time on their feet, grinding it out, because the running world says the answer is almost always more.

Unfortunately, your bones and connective tissues (you know, those things responsible for injuries like Achilles tendinopathy, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, and stress fractures), need more.

So when you just keep relentlessly adding more and more running volume, you’re building a great aerobic engine, but likely working on borrowed time for the rest of your body.

It’s not a “discipline” issue.

It’s a tissue-training mismatch.

And most runners who started later in life run into it.

This is why most runners who actually come back healthy and get faster don’t rely solely on more mileage. They come back by building a body that can take the training.

I’m walking you through exactly how you can build a more durable body on August 19th.

About 90 minutes. Free.
